There seems to be a lot of confusion when it comes to ordering automotive parts. Many customers have have asked us over the years which side is the left or the right. Since we have many International customers that have RHD (Right-Hand Drive) vehicles, we decided to do a little write-up  and hopefully help clear up any confusion for customers everywhere:

The right and left sides of a vehicle or the engine are determined facing forward from the rear of the car or as from the point of view of being seated inside the car, facing the front (from the driver's seat). The following picture hopefully helps understand this a little better.

Where is the Left and Right Side on my Porsche

Easy way to remember what we just covered:

  1. Your left hand is your left side and your right hand is your right side no matter where you are in the world.
  2. Regardless if the vehicle is a LHD (Left Hand Drive) or RHD (Right Hand Drive), the left side of the car is always where your left arm is and the right side of the car is where your right arm is.
  3. If your vehicle is a RHD always make sure to mention it; if we don't know it is a RHD model we will assume you are sitting on the left side as the driver since we are based in the US.

Hope this helps and feel free to contact us when you're ready to order your parts if you're still confused :)
