Porsche 996/986 License Plate Bracket Installation
We've had many customers ask us which parts are needed to install their front license plate on 986 Boxster and 996 models. To make things a little easier to understand we decided to put together this list and hope that it will help anyone who might be still be confused out there:
996 Models (1999-2005):
To mount the front license bracket to the front bumper use the following: 2x 900-145-012-07 1x 996-701-801-00 1x 996-701-802-00 To mount the license plate to the actual bracket use the following: 4x 900-143-134-00 4x 900-025-024-40
986 Boxster Models (1997-2002):
986 Boxster Models (2003-2004): To mount the front license bracket to the front bumper use the following: 2x 900-145-012-07 1x 986-701-801-00 1x 986-701-802-00 To mount the license plate to the actual bracket use the following: 4x 900-143-134-00 4x 900-025-024-40
